Police are searching for a man in connection with an assault in Plungington.

CCTV pictures have been released of a man walking a dog on the patch of land between Brook Street and Plungington Road.

Police say the attack took place in the ‘park’ behind the Spar store on Saturday 22 February.

The attack happened at around 11.30am when a man in his late 40s was attacked.

A police spokesperson said: “We appreciate that the images are not the best quality but if you recognise this man, witnessed the incident, or have any footage or information that could assist us with our enquiries please get in touch.”
