Preston North End forward Milutin Osmajic has been charged by the FA after an incident in a fixture with Burnley last month.
Osmajic was accused of using abusive language with reference to colour and race – claims he continues to ‘strongly deny’ – during the fixture on Saturday, 15 February.
Osmajic has until Tuesday, 25 March to reply to the charge.

He is charged with a breach to FA Rule E3.1 which states that participants shall at all times act in the best interests of the game, and not act in a manner using one or a combination of violent conduct foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words.
He is further charged with breaches to FA Rule E3.2 which would be any of the above with reference to ethnic origin, colour, race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
A spokesperson for Preston North End Football Club said: “Preston North End acknowledges the charges brought against Milutin Osmajić by The FA following last month’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Burnley.
“Milutin continues to strongly deny the allegations of the use of abusive language with reference to colour and/or race and will provide an official response to The FA charges in due course.
“Until such a time where the case has been concluded, the club will be making no further comment.”
