Man taken to hospital after assault in pub toilet in Church Street

A man was attacked in a pub toilet in Preston city centre.

Preston Police were called to reports of an assault at Hogarths in Church Street.

Officers were called around 5.20pm on Monday 3 March.

A man in his 60s was treated at hospital for cuts to his head and face after the attack.

Eyewitnesses told Blog Preston they believed the attack to be unprovoked and there was ‘blood all over the floor’ in the pub.

A police spokesperson confirmed an investigation is underway and anyone with information should contact them on 101 quoting log 1008 of March 3rd.
