French band Lazuli will be taking to the stage in Preston this month.
Renowned for their electrifying live shows and eclectic mix of instruments, Lazuli will perform at The Ferret in Fylde Road on Monday 10 March.
Lazuli, based near Nîmes in southern France, have built up a strong following in the UK over the past decade through their dynamic, energetic, uplifting performances at festivals and on their regular tours.
Founded by brothers Dominique and Claude Leonetti in 1998, Lazuli are greatly influenced by British bands, especially the Beatles – so much so, their French studio is called L’Abeille Rôde (Abbey Road).

Lazuli fuse diverse musical themes with folk, art and classic rock influences. Their immersive, powerful sound is defined by a unique instrument called the Léode, a sonic box of tricks designed and played by Claude Leonetti.
Dominique Leonetti said: “It’s always a pleasure to cross the Channel to find the land of our idols. Playing here is a dream for French bands because most of the music that built us was born in the United Kingdom. So, we appreciate our luck. And at a time when this world is going crazy, we know how precious these moments of respite that music offers are.”
Lazuli are playing a festival and six concerts in England and Wales on this tour. On all their dates, they will be supported by Jones & Son, featuring John Dexter Jones and his son, Tal.
