A car ended up smashing into railings on Fylde Road after reportedly rolling downhill.
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary were called to Fylde Road at around 3.10pm this afternoon (19 March) to reports of a crash.
On arrival, they found a silver car had gone into the railings opposite the junction with Maudland Bank.

Nobody was hurt as a result of the incident and it is understood that no arrests have been made.
It is believed the car had a faulty handbrake and rolled down Fylde Road from the direction of the university before crashing through the railings.
