With film awards season in full swing, The Flower Bowl is hosting a variety of screenings of top nominated titles. There are also several live theatre screenings taking place there and at Vue and Odeon in the coming week. And, in the run-up to Valentineās Day, Vue is hosting a number of special screenings that are perfect for date night.
With that in mind, these are all of the unique and special screenings that can be seen at Preston cinemas from Friday 7 February, through to Thursday 13 February.

Tennantās performances in Shakespearian plays have been particularly successful, and his latest West End outing with Cush Jumbo in Macbeth is no different. Having received numerous 5 star reviews, this show is not one to miss, and with several showings in the local cinemas, there are plenty of chances to get yourself ticket.

Vue is celebrating the career of David Fincher, which means several of his best works are playing on the big screen. Se7en stands out as a thrilling mystery story starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman with twists throughout. It also marks the 30th anniversary for Se7en this year.

Hard Truths is an independent British film that has been making its way around film festivals since September 2024. The Flower Bowl has given this comedy drama, directed by Mike Leigh, a prominent place in their listings, with daily showings. For something fresh, Hard Truths is a great choice.
