Overnight closures of a busy junction near Preston Bus Station are to see buses diverted.
The evening and early-morning diversions will be in place as the works take place linked to the road changes around the Ormskirk Road area linked to the Animate cinema and leisure complex opening.
Preston City Council is undertaking nearly two weeks of overnight closures of the Ormskirk Road junction where it meets North Road and Tithebarn Street. The closure will be force from Monday 10 February to Saturday 22 February and from 8pm to 6am each night.

The work had been due to take place in early January but was put back – to allow more time for bus service diversions to be worked out.
A second set of work on Tithebarn Street itself, where it meets Old Vicarage, has continued to be delayed.
A city council spokesperson said: “To allow contractors to complete the first stage of the Illuminate and Integrate project the road closures will be in place.
“The diversion between these hours will direct traffic for Carlisle Street to Preston Bus Station Car Park.
“The Illuminate and Integrate project is part of the exciting investment happening in the Harris Quarter.”
Preston Bus has announced the overnight closures will affect the 23,35,19,20,31,43,44,46,45 and 48 services – and only affects services on their way into the Bus Station.
The diversion for the services above will be they will continue along Ringway onto Stanley Street, to London Road and then turn right at the traffic light junction onto Queen Street. At the roundabout they will turn right onto Manchester Road and continue to the end where you will be at Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street then left up Pole Street to the junction of Lords Walk. Turn left onto Lords Walk and continue to the bus station.
The 45 and 48 services are to see diversions both inbound and outbound.
Outbound services will have to exit via Tithebarn Street onto Lancaster Road and Church Street to get onto Ringway. Turn left onto Ringway then turn right onto North Road to continue normal route.
Inbound services will have to turn left onto Ringway and follow the previous diversion onto Stanley Street, London Road then turn right at the traffic light junction onto Queen Street. At the roundabout turn right onto Manchester Road and continue to the end where you will be at Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street then left up Pole Street to the junction of Lords Walk. Turn left onto Lords Walk and continue to the bus station.
