Part of a park and ride site on the edge of Preston city centre remains uncertain.
The Hartington Road section of the Portway park and ride is currently unused.
It was stood down as the depot compound for the Environment Agency’s long-running works in Broadgate during December last year.

But Preston Bus and potential commuters and shoppers have been left confused as to what the plan is for the site.
A spokesperson for Preston Bus told Blog Preston: “Following the completion of Environment Agency works late last year, we are awaiting confirmation from the county council, as owners of the site, as to when we can re-open this for our Park and Ride customers.
“In the meantime, the larger site on the opposite side of Strand Road (where the bus stop is) continues to be open as usual, served by our Cross City 19/20 services linking Lea, Larches, Preston Rail Station, Bus Station and Royal Preston Hospital.”
A spokesperson for Lancashire County Council said: “We are assessing long-term options for the Hartington Road site. There appears to be sufficient capacity on the Portway site to meet the current demand.”
