A key Preston road was closed after a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

Police were called to New Hall Lane at 5pm yesterday (4 February) to reports of the collision.

A person suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident, Blog Preston understands.

The road was closed between the junctions of Adelaide Street and Mercer Street with police saying it would be closed ‘for a short amount of time’.

New Hall Lane was confirmed to have reopened by 8.30pm last night.
