Storm Cat, who were nominated for the Independent Retailer of the Year at the 2024 Preston’s High Street Heroes Awards, is set to re-open an expanded shop on Saturday 15 February.
Their store opening event is expected to take place between 3pm and 7pm at 41 Cannon Street, only a few shops down from their original store opened in 2023.
It will include a disco with a DJ, bingo, free Lush goody bags and to eat Northern classic-crisps butties.

The owner, Roxanne, mentioned the demand has increased for different products such as pin badges, earrings, and iron-on badges as well as their sole focus on vintage clothes in the previous shop.
She stated that her aim with the vast range of items in the new shop will hopefully give customers creative freedom and allow them to create custom patchwork clothing.
In anticipation of the store reopening, store owner Roxanne said that the shop’s demand was so big in the two years of opening, that they needed to expand into a bigger space.
The inspiration for this shop is set to come from their favourite alternative shops elsewhere such as Affleck’s in Manchester and pop-up shops at festivals where people should feel like it is okay to be themselves with unique items.
The “grand” re-opening is inviting anyone who can attend. To get in touch or to find out more information visit here.
