The first holiday lodge has arrived at a former golf course and farm in Goosnargh.
The transformation of Goosnargh Golf Club has entered a new phase on the one time farm. The former nine-hole golf course, on Inglewhite Road, saw its last rounds played in August 2019 – 14 years after it opened.
With the first lodge now being brought onto the site, which has views of Beacon Fell and the surrounding countryside north of Preston, the vision for Goosnargh Lodge Park is starting to take shape.

Announcing the arrival on the Goosnargh Lodge Park Facebook page, the leisure facility states: “Say hello to the stunning Casa Di Lusso, a beautifully crafted home that marks a huge milestone for us. A massive thank you to Prestige Homeseeker Park and Leisure Homes for helping us source this incredible lodge – the quality, design, and attention to detail are simply outstanding.
“Seeing our vision come to life is truly exciting, and we can’t wait to welcome our first owners to experience lodge living at its finest. Stay tuned for more updates as Goosnargh Lodge Park continues to take shape”
The leisure facility is expected to bring around 130 holiday lodges to the rural spot – providing what is being described as ‘luxury accommodation’”’ for tourists.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy an on-site restaurant and bar, swimming pool, spa facilities and a gym – all reserved solely for their use.
Along with the static lodges, there will be space for 26 touring caravans, which will also have access to their own dedicated amenities, while 14 ‘office pods’ will be installed for those who need to dip back into work during their rest and relaxation, as Blog Preston has previously reported.
Before becoming a golf course, the area was home to a traditional farm.
