Busy Preston Docks junction delays due to crash

Police say the closure affects Watery Lane up to the junction with Portway Pic: Google

A busy junction at Preston Docks is seeing disruption due to a crash.

Preston Police have closed Watery Lane in Ashton-on-Ribble in the westbound direction.

A crash shortly after 1pm on Sunday (16 February) has resulted in a road closure.

Police said the road is shut on the stretch up to the junction with Portway for the Docks. Blog Preston understands a motorbike was involved in the crash.

The road re-opened shortly after 2pm on Sunday.
