The man remains in custody at this time.
Hanley’s remains open to trade as usual.
The burglary follows two break-ins in Station Road last month where Med3 tapas and TukTuk Indian takeaway were both targeted by thieves and vandals.
Police say the 27-year-old man arrested for Hanley’s is also being questioned in connection with those two incidents.
A 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of burglary of a non-dwelling (Med3 and TukTuk) has since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
