Two cars and a motorbike involved in A6 crash near Barton Grange

Two cars and a motorbike were involved in a crash which closed a key road north of Preston.

Police were called at 7.16pm last night (17 January) to reports of a crash on the A6 at Claughton-on-Brock. The crash happened between the Rogers Garage at New Lane turn and Barton Grange Garden Centre.

The road closed for an extended period of time with police confirming this morning (18 January) that the road had reopened for traffic. The time taken related to clearing debris from the incident from the road.

Blog Preston understands that the crash involved two cars and a motorbike but that those involved did not suffer serious injuries.

One person suffered minor injuries in the incident, according to police.
