A search is underway after the disappearance of a Preston woman that has left police ‘extremely concerned’.
Emma Whittaker, 31, was last seen at Derwentwater Place, just off the A6 close to UCLan, at around 5.30pm today (24 January).
Update: Police say Emma was found safe and well during the weekend (25/26 January). The public were thanked for sharing the appeal.
She was seen wearing a white student nurse tunic with blue trousers, police said. They said she has links to Poulton.

A spokesperson for police said: “She’s missing and we are extremely concerned for her.
“She is white, five ft three ins tall, medium build, blond hair, glasses. She was last seen wearing a white student nurse tunic and blue trousers. Emma has links to Poulton.”
