A longstanding jeweller and goldsmith is ready for retirement after 47 years operating in Preston.
David Jones, who will turn 68 next month, and is sole proprieter David Jones Goldsmiths and Jewellers at 130 Friargate, will close his doors for the last time tomorrow (31 January).
The shop has been running a sale in the shop since November in preparation with up to 60% off items in store.

Jones said: “It will be very sad and emotional day for all. Thank you for being part of our story. Also, a big thank-you to Carrie-Anne for all the handwork and dedication you have brought to this business over the last 10 years.“
David said he is looking forward to spending more time on holiday in sunnier climates with his partner in the near future.
