Police closed the A6 near to Barton Grange Garden Centre due to a serious crash.
Emergency services were at the scene in Claughton-on-Brock yesterday evening (17 January) with police confirming the road was open again this morning (18 January).
The crash was between the Rogers Garage at New Lane turn and the garden centre and leisure complex The Flower Bowl.

The A6 was closed in both directions.
A police spokesperson said in a brief statement this morning: “We can now confirm that the A6 near Barton Grange has now reopened in full following a road traffic collision. Thank you for your patience”
The crash took place around 7.30pm.
