An already gridlocked road between Fulwood and Ribbleton due to temporary traffic lights is partially closed due to a crash.

Preston Police are at the scene in Bluebell Way.

The road is shut close to the roundabout with Longridge Road.

Major congestion is being experienced – due to the crash and on top of an already busy road due to temporary lights for electricity cable works near Roman Way in Longridge Road.

The crash took place around 3pm on Tuesday (7 January).

A spokesperson for police said it was a ‘damage-only’ collision.
