The Legendary Willy Banjo Almost-Annual Charity Christmas Do is returning to raise much-needed funds for The Foxton Centre.
The event will take place at The Ferret in Fylde Road on Friday 6 December from 7pm to 2am.
Dave from Willy Banjo said: “This year’s party is going to be our best yet: an epic line up, great vibes, and, as always, all proceeds going to The Foxton Centre, who work tirelessly to support Preston’s most marginalised communities.”
Non-stop hip hop party band The Hiphopalippz will be headlining. There will also be appearances from Glastonbury and old school pianist legend Davos, DJ KingTinny with some sick beats, Preston rave royalty Nick Almond, Willy Banjo’s own beat maker Jake Whoo?, and Fifi’s Kitchen Disco.
Dave continued: “Unlike some huge Manc bands, we don’t take the piss with ticket pricing. We’re using our own version of dynamic pricing with three options – because everyone deserves to join in, whether you’re skint or feeling flush.
“The Skint Charity Donation Ticket is £5.50, made for our mates who are unemployed, on low wages, or just skint before Christmas. No questions asked.
“The Standard Charity Donation Ticket is £11, while the Super Generous Donation Ticket is £22. This baller ticket is for our richer friends who want to help us raise even more. Buy this, and you’re going to heaven.”
Earlier this year, Willy Banjo celebrated its 30th birthday with a party that raised over £2,300 for The Foxton Centre.
Tickets for The Legendary Willy Banjo Almost-Annual Charity Christmas Do are available on Skiddle.
