Applause rang out around Deepdale as Preston North End fans paid tribute in memory of Paul Fiddler.
The 41-year-old died when a tree fell onto the van he was driving on the Longton Bypass during Storm Darragh in early December.
His family, including his wife and step daughter, were in attendance for the Boxing Day fixture with Hull City.
Paul’s picture was shown on the big screen in his memory as fans got to their feet to applaud throughout the 41st minute.

Paul’s funeral took place in his native Freckleton last week with more than 1,000 people estimated to have attended.
