Sexual assault investigation launched at Preston Railway Station

Police are investigating reports of a sexual assault on a train at Preston Railway Station.

British Transport Police have released pictures of a man they wish to speak to in connection with their investigation.

A woman was onboard a train on Friday 25 October around 10.44am when it arrived into the city’s station.

A spokesperson for transport police said: “Do you recognise this man? Officers believe the man in the images may have information which could help with their investigation.”

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by calling 0800405040 or texting 61016 and quoting reference 287 of 26 October.
