Sentimental pocket watches stolen in Ribbleton burglary

Two pocket watches holding significant sentimental value were stolen during a burglary in Preston.

The incident happened between 7pm last night (9 December) and 8am this morning (10 December) at Ribbleton Avenue in Ribbleton.

The occupants of the house were at home during this time. The watches were in a wallet that also contained cash.

Police are appealing for information.

A spokesperson for police said: ” We are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a house in Ribbleton in which sentimental items were stolen.

“A wallet containing cash and two pocket watches which are of significant sentimental value were stolen.

“If you witnessed anything suspicious in the area during this time or know where these items could be, please contact us on 101 quoting the log number 222 of 10th December 2024 or email 6402@lancashire.police.uk”
