Anyone who booked for the Saturday can use their pre-booked tickets to attend on Sunday.
A spokesperson for the city council said: “We’re delighted to confirm that the Fire Garden event will proceed as planned this evening at Avenham and Miller Parks. Please note that adjustments have been made to accommodate guests originally scheduled for Saturday.”
Sunday’s event will include a performance from the Singspiration choir.
The Fire Garden is free to attend and people are urged to book via Eventbrite from 5pm with slots every 15-minutes.
