A man arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a man died in Ashton-on-Ribble has been released on bail.
Police were called to Fylde Road on Saturday (30 November) at around 8.40pm to reports a man had been struck by a Suzuki Swift which did not stop at the scene.
The victim, a man in his 40s who has not been named by police, was confirmed to have died at the scene.

A 24-year-old man was arrested in the aftermath but has since been released on bail, with conditions, pending further enquiries, Blog Preston understands.
Police investigations continue into the incident.
