At the start of December, a major pub in Preston city centre changed its name after almost 200 years.
The Black-a-Moor pub in Lancaster Road was rebranded as The Lancaster Gate.
The £283,000 makeover in late October saw the pub close until Friday 6 December.

New furniture, fixtures, fittings, lighting, and signage were put in the pub which re-opened with live music on Friday by The Stand Inns and Stone Cutter performing on Saturday.
It’s the second pub in Lancaster Road to rebrand and re-open following The Stanley Arms becoming Stanley & Co in November.
Beth and Damian Hodgson, operators of The Lancaster Gate, said: “It’s been amazing to see how quickly it has transformed. We have really enjoyed working with Proper Pubs over the last four years and when the opportunity to take this site over came up, we just had to go for it.”
