A key road through Fulwood was closed due to a crash involving three cars.
Police were at the scene of a crash on Garstang Road, close to the junction with Brookside Road, in Fulwood. Police were called at around 4.10pm this evening (31 December).
Three cars are involved in the crash, in which nobody has sustained any injuries, but police said the road ‘will be closed for some time’. They were then able to reopen the road at around 5.30pm.

A spokesperson for police said earlier: “We’re currently at the scene of a road closure on Garstang Road at the junction with Brookside Road heading into Preston.
“The road is closed due to a road traffic collision and we anticipate this will be closed for some time.
“We’ll provide an update once cleared and thank you in advance for your patience.”
There is traffic in the area after the incident.
