Six people were arrested after ‘acts of disorder’ that led to a dispersal order being issued in Preston city centre.
Lancashire Constabulary dealt with incidents on Saturday and Sunday after being informed of groups of youths causing issues both in Fishergate and Avenham Park.
A 14-year old boy was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and three girls, 17, 15 and 14 arrested on suspicion of assault.

All four of those individuals remain in custody waiting to be questioned, police said.
A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been bailed with conditions.
A spokesperson for police said: “To reassure you, an increased police presence will be visible in the City Centre over the coming days as a precaution.”
Julie Rawsthorne, Preston Neighbourhood Policing Chief Inspector, said: “We will not tolerate acts of disorder in our City and will continue to work alongside our partners to ensure that Preston is a safe place to live, work and visit.”
A section 34 dispersal order was issued on Sunday night in response to the incidents. These orders give police officers powers to direct people to leave an area if they are involved in, or felt likely to become involved in, anti-social behaviour for a set period of time.
