Preston’s Light Foundation is inviting people of all backgrounds to take part in a debate about assisted dying.
The interfaith group meet on the first Thursday of every month.
This month’s topic will see discussions on ‘Why does religion matter in the assisted dying debate?’ and comes after MPs voted to approve the assisted dying bill during an emotional debate in the House of Commons last week.

The meeting will be held during Thursday (5 December) at the Quaker’s Meeting House on St George’s Road in Deepdale from 7.30pm.
Their monthly programmes are open to people from all faiths and none and from all backgrounds and ways of life.
They are also said to be a non-judgemental forum for open and honest discussions based on mutual respect.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Please join us for these very popular gatherings as we continue to build and strengthen ties between faith and non-faith communities whilst attempting to explore the meanings of life.”
The foundation hold free, monthly meetings on a range of different religion related topics.
