On Saturday (7 December), eight-piece 70s disco tribute band Groovemental will be performing feel good disco and dance tunes.

Sherlock Holmes’ Christmas Casebook is on on Thursday 12 December, where the audience can take a trip to Baker Street and spend Christmas with Holmes in this engaging stage show.

On Friday 13 December, A Celebration of Simon and Garfunkel will see talented singer-songwriters Tim Chu and Ian Bailey paying tribute with an ambient collection of the duo’s much-loved hits.

The Soul Federation on Saturday 14 December promises to be a Christmas soul party featuring classic soul, northern soul, Blues Brothers and more.

Friday 20 December will bring The Amy Winehouse Experience to the stage. A tribute to the singer’s talent with a band recreating the sound of her mix of jazz, ska, soul and pop.

On to Saturday 21 December and the ever-popular Ska Face will bring a packed performance of favourite ska tunes.

The events culminate in the Preston tradition of Carols at the Conti, taking place on Sunday 22 December.

St Stephen’s Choir will once again lead an evening of carol singing, which – weather permitting – will be held in the beer garden. Mulled wine will be served outside, with normal bar service inside.

The Conti is also offering a three-course Christmas menu, featuring gluten-free and vegan options, until Tuesday 24 December.
