An 18-year-old motorcyclist has died after reportedly colliding with a lamppost in Preston.
Police were called to Navigation Way at 3.48pm yesterday evening (8 December) to reports of a one-vehicle crash.
Officers quickly closed the road but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have now released an emotional tribute in his memory.

Lancashire Constabulary told Blog Preston the man had collided with the lamppost.
Police are now appealing for anyone who might have seen the incident to come forward.
Sgt Anthony Beckett of our Road Policing Unit, said: “First and foremost, my thoughts are with the man’s family, friends and loved ones at this sad and distressing time. They are being supported by specially trained officers.
“As we investigate, we want to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam/CCTV footage from the area around the time it happened.”
