He will be completing a three-year apprenticeship training course.
Once finished, Isaac will be a qualified Level 3 Fire Emergency and Security Systems Technician, a role that involves installing and maintaining electronic systems to protect homes and businesses.
Isaac said: “I am really enjoying it at JFN. I especially like working with Roy because he shows me everything up close and explains what he’s doing, rather than just telling me. I tend to learn a lot better this way; his methods are really suited to me, and I find I’m able to pick things up quickly and easily.
“Everything I learned at PVC has been so important for my development and it’s helping me now in my new apprenticeship. Most of all, the respect and manners that Martin and his tutors instilled in me have been so important because those things go such a long way in the world of work.
“I want to thank Martin and all the tutors at PVC for guiding me – not only in mastering technical skills but also in showing me so much respect and confidence. I’ve learned a lot about myself – thank you PVC.”

Roy Weyer, Fire and Security Engineer at JFN, said: “I’ve known Isaac for only a matter of weeks and yet I’m already incredibly impressed with his attitude.
“He’s got a lot of determination, and this will be a valuable asset throughout his apprenticeship. He’s a great lad to work with – he’s kind, polite, respectful, and we really enjoy having him here. He’s going to be a great engineer.”
Isaac says he is excited to see where his career will take him, he is hoping to stay with JFN long-term after his apprenticeship.
