Road in Preston closed due to crash with police asking public to seek other routes

A road leading out of Preston is closed after a crash.

Ribbleton Avenue, B6243, is closed at the junction of Grange Avenue between Ribbleton and Grange in Preston, police said.

The incident was first reported by police at 9.45pm this evening (3 November).

It is not clear at this stage how serious the collision is or if anyone involved has suffered any injuries – but police have asked the public to find alternative routes.

A spokesperson for police said: “We currently have a road closure in place following a road traffic collision.

“This road closure is in place on Ribbleton Avenue junction with Grange Avenue, Preston.

“Please find alternative routes during this time, once the road is reopen we will update you.”
