A pedestrian who died after being hit by a car in Bamber Bridge in October was a mother with an eight-year-old daughter.
Police were called to Tramway Lane at 6.35pm on 24 October to reports of a collision between a Audi S3 and a woman.
The woman, who has now been named as Himabindu Yadla, died in hospital on 11 November. She left behind her eight-year-old daughter, who is being taken care of by her family.

Now her brother Hemanth Yadla has issued a plea for the public to help police piece together what happened in an incident that changed their family’s lives. A 34-year-old man arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs has been released under investigation.
He said: “We fully support the police investigation to find out what happened. We are so heartbroken that she is no longer with us and our lives have been changed forever.
“My sister leaves an 8-year-old daughter behind, and we are all focused on making sure she is taken care of.”
Police continue to appeal for witnesses and footage of the collision as we investigate what happened.
