The Nose Bag issue 23 coming soon

The new issue of Preston North End fanzine The Nose Bag is now ready for pre-order.

Issue 22 of the quarterly magazine, pulled together with support from Rhodes Carpets and Flooring and The Sir Tom Finney pub, and in partnership with Blog Preston, is stacked with great reads from writers old and new.

This issue’s big interview is with former Preston North End winger Jeffrey Monakana – a fan favourite during his time at the club and brought in under controversial manager Graham Westley.

He talks about being snubbed for the Blackpool derby, the feeling from bagging his first goal and assist and being such a key man at a tough time for the club, his decision to move on from Deepdale and, as is now the norm, some shenanigans from Jack King.

PNE historian Martin Atherton will look into the club’s history on penalties, fresh off the marathon win over Fulham in the Carabao Cup that saw us progress after 34 kicks in total – a record for the tournament. Expect Arestidou.

Elsewhere, John Roper writes on terrace legend Harry Billington and we get an update on the battle to save Bamber Bridge FC.

All of this is just £2 to buy and you can pre-order it from here. The edition will be post from 15 November.
