New Hall Lane crash leads to rush hour Friday traffic

There were significant delays on a key Preston road this evening after a crash.
Police were called to New Hall Lane at around 5.15pm this evening (22 November) after a crash between two cars.
The incident happened close to the junction for Waverley Road and one of the cars has sustained significant damage.

Officers at the scene informed Blog Preston that nobody was injured as a result of the crash.
There are continued delays in the area as of around 6pm and officers from Lancashire Constabulary are directing traffic – rather than implementing a full closure – while the aftermath of the crash is dealt with.
