A man was left with serious injuries after an assault in Preston earlier this year.

Police said that the incident happened in the early hours of Sunday, 22 September on Friargate in Preston city centre.

The man suffered injuries to his head, back and arms as a result of the incident and police are now appealing for any information related to it.

They have released four images of individuals they wish to identify who may be able to help them with their investigation.

A spokesperson for police said: “Whilst we appreciate that this was some time ago, our officers have been conducting extensive enquiries behind the scenes and we now need to ask for your help to identify those in the images as we believe they may be able to help with our enquiries.
