A local coach is bringing the world’s first global self-help book club to Preston.

Charlotte Flynn is hosting a Shelf Help Club walk and talk meet up on Sunday 24 November in Avenham and Miller Parks. The meeting point is the Miller Park fountain at 11am.

Shelf Help Club is dedicated to celebrating, inspiring and supporting personal development.

Founded in October 2017 by British journalist Toni Jones, the club is now a global online and offline collective with a network of over 20,000 readers and seekers worldwide.

This meet up is hosted by Charlotte, an ICF accredited coach (ACC) who supports people to move into the very best versions of themselves.

Speaking to Blog Preston, Charlotte said: “The Shelf Help Club exists to celebrate and promote self-help, connecting as many people as possible with books, ideas and experts to inspire them to create healthier and more positive relationships with themselves.

“This month’s book of the month is Self Care for Winter by Suzy Reading.

“During the walk we’ll be chatting about what winter self-care means to us and how we can incorporate more nourishment into our lives this winter. 

“You don’t need to have read the whole book to join. Everyone is welcome, and it’s free to attend.”
