A 22-year-old man wanted for a serious assault in Lancaster could be in Preston.

Alex McKenzie is on the run and Preston Police have asked for the public’s help to track him down.

Police say he is wanted in connection with a serious assault which took place in Denny Avenue, Lancaster, on 2 January this year.

He is described as 6′, slim, with light brown hair which police say may be shorter than in the picture.

He has links to Blackpool, Preston and Doncaster.

Anyone who sees McKenzie is asked not to approach him but report any sightings or information by calling 101 or quoting log 0844 of 2 January 2024 or emailing 5989@lancashire.police.uk
