Preston gathered amid damp scenes on the city’s Flag Market to mark Remembrance Sunday.
The annual service and parade saw thousands of people come to pay their respects in memory of those who have given their lives in conflicts past and present.
Dignitaries from the city’s land, sea and air regiments as well as service veterans were a part of the parade.

Youth groups such as cadets and Brownies and played a part too – with young people standing on each corner of the Cenotaph while the service took place.
Wreaths were laid by the Mayor of Preston along with political leaders, emergency service and armed forces leaders too.
The parade route went to and from the Bus Station plaza.
A Chelsea pensioner, Steve Allen, formerly of the 14/20th Hussars was also in attendance in the distinctive red coat.
