In pictures: Preston Bonfire Night 2024 firework displays light city skies

Preston’s skies were lit with fireworks as Bonfire Night displays took place.

Crowds flocked to Preston Grasshoppers in Fulwood for the city’s largest display with other displays at Grimsargh and Penwortham.

There’s been some fantastic fireworks pictures shared on what was a mild and clear night with good conditions for seeing the colours and explosions.

During Monday 4 November there was also a ‘quiet fireworks’ display held by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service at their training centre in Euxton.

At The Plough in Grimsargh crowds packed into the pub’s beer garden for a free display – as it returned for the first time in a number of years.
