Footage of Preston man on the run from prison is released

Police are continuing to search for a man wanted on recall to prison.

Lee Newsham, who also uses the surname McPartland, was last seen during Thursday 31 October.

Update: Police say Newsham was arrested during Tuesday (5 November) afternoon and is in custody

Preston Police say Newsham was last seen in Preston city centre and was wearing a grey top, black jeans and trainers.

He is 5’10”, is clean shaven and has short brown cropped hair.

Police say he has links to Leyland and Blackpool.

Video footage of Newsham has been released by police as they continue to search for him. You can watch it below or tap to watch.

Anyone who sees Newsham should not approach him and must call 999.

Anyone with information about where he could be is asked to call 101 and quote log 493 of 31 October 2024.
