A fire at a commercial premises off Ribbleton Lane has revealed a suspected cannabis farm.
Preston Police were called to a property behind the Olive of Sinai restaurant in Terrace Street, Fishwick, during Tuesday (26 November) morning.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service had sent three crews, from Fulwood and Preston, to tackle a fire at the premises.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Crews used six breathing apparatus, two positive pressure ventilation fans, two hose reels, one short extension ladder, and breaking-in equipment, including heavy rescue Holmatro cutters, to extinguish the fire.”
Crews spent nearly four hours on site and police say they have uncovered a cannabis cultivation connected to the premises.
Eyewitnesses said they saw a large emergency services presence in the area throughout Tuesday, supported by Electricity North West engineers.
A police spokesperson confirmed enquiries were ongoing.
Anyone with information in connection with the fire or the cannabis plantation uncovered is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 367 of 26 November.
The Olive of Sinai restaurant is unaffected by the fire and is continuing to trade.
