Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on a key road into Preston.

Officers from Lancashire Constabulary and crews from Lancashire & Fire Rescue Service are in attendance at Liverpool Road, on the bridge over the Ribble close to Preston at Broadgate, at what is understood to be a multi-vehicle crash.

The road is blocked to traffic eastbound, although officers are directing traffic rather than closing the route entirely. There are delays in the area as a result. The incident was first reported at around 6.40pm this evening (30 November).
