M6 delays between Junction 31 and Junction 32 northbound after crash

There’s continued delays on the M6 northbound around Junction 31 Pic: Traffic England

Delays remain on the M6 northbound after a crash during Sunday lunchtime.

One lane was blocked between Junction 31 (Tickled Trout) and Junction 32 (Broughton).

The crash took place around 11.45am on Sunday (27 October).

Traffic England is showing delays are still back to Junction 29 (Bamber Bridge) on the M6 and to where the M61 joins the M6 at Junction 30.

There’s also heavy traffic on the M65 westbound during Sunday afternoon due to a broken down vehicle.

Two lanes are shut between Junction 3 (Hoghton) heading towards Blackburn.

All delays on both the M6 and the M65 are expected to clear around 2pm.
