UCLan Film and Screen Saturday Club starts on 12 October

The UCLan Film and Screen Saturday Club is looking for budding filmmakers, photographers and digital storytellers between the ages of 13 and 16.

Part of the National Saturday Club network, the club is the perfect opportunity for teenagers to dive into the world of media and develop creative skills.

This club provides hands-on experience with a wide range of media tools, including cameras, editing software, sound recording equipment, and more.

Over the course of the programme, youngsters will explore filmmaking, photography, podcasting, graphic design, and digital storytelling.

Each session is designed to build confidence in using industry-standard equipment and software, giving a real taste of professional-level work.

Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition.

Membership is free and limited places are available each year.

To register interest, visit the National Saturday Club website.
