Scam warning over ‘Big Jump Festival’ on Moor Park

A trampoline and inflatables event being widely shared as taking place in Moor Park this weekend is a scam.
Preston City Council has issued a scam alert.
An event was being advertised, called The Big Jump, as taking place in the park over the course of this weekend.

A spokesperson for Preston City Council said: “Scam alert. The Big Jump event advertised as taking place on Moor Park this weekend is a scam.
“Do not book tickets. There is no event.”
The event was being widely advertised on Facebook. It is understood the posts and event have been removed.
Moor Park is in the process of being restored after hosting the BBC Radio 2 In The Park festival earlier this month.
