Preston Docks industrial estate road re-opens after crash overnight

A road through Preston Docks industrial park was closed overnight due to a crash.

Preston Police shut Chain Caul Way, from the junction of Nelson Way to the junction with Lockside Road.

Update: Three people are in hospital with serious injuries after the crash

A police spokesperson confirmed the road reopened during Wednesday (11 September) morning.

The crash took place around 11pm on Tuesday (10 September) and one vehicle is understood to be involved.

Preston Police said further details would be released shortly.
