The application is not seeking external alterations to the building. The site is within a parade of shops that includes a hairdresser and barber, an off-licence and a scuba dive store.
Preston City Council’s senior environmental health officer has declared that their department has no issues with the application.
The application states the new store will create new jobs locally and open from 6am-11pm each day.
The plans were submitted to Preston City Council on 22 August and a decision will be made by Preston City Council in the near future.
