A high street café in Preston has closed for the final time.

Moka Café Bar & Restaurant has been trading for over 20 years on Fishergate in Preston but had its final service on Saturday (28 September).

The café was one of the longer-serving and recognisable businesses on the high street.

A spokesperson for Moka said: “It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that we have shut our doors for the final time on Saturday.

“We would like to thank all our customers over the past 22 years for their support, and all of our wonderful staff.”

MOKA in Fishergate Shopping Centre was a separate business but announced its closure in August 2024.
