Man taken to hospital after wagon crashes into car on Whittingham Lane

A man was taken to hospital with minor injuries after a crash in Goosnargh.

Police closed Whittingham Lane at around 12.09pm today (5 September) after a crash between a wagon and a car on the road.

The car driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

The road was closed for a period of time while emergency services dealt with the incident but it has since reopened.

A spokesperson for police said: “We were called at 12.09pm today to Whittingham Lane, Goosnargh, to a report of a road traffic collision.

“Our officers attended and found that a wagon had collided with a car.

“The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and has been taken to hospital.”
